"I’ve seen a ton on the facebooks about “thanking veterans for their service.” As a veteran let me just be very straightforward and honest with you. We didn’t “serve our country”; we don’t actually serve our brothers/sisters or our neighbors. We serve the interests of Capital. We never risked our lives or spent months on deployment away from our family and friends so they can have this abstract concept called “freedom”. We served big oil; big coal; Coca-Cola; Kellogg, Brown, and Root and all the other big Capital interests who don’t know a fucking thing about sacrifice. These people will never have to deal with the loss of a loved one or the physical and/or psychological scars that those who “serve”, and their families, have to deal with for the rest of their lives. The most patriotic thing someone can do is to tell truth to power and dedicate yourself to building power to overthrow these sociopathic assholes. I served with some of the most real and genuine people I’ve ever met. You’ll never see solidarity like the kind of solidarity you experience when your life depends on the person next to you. But most of us didn’t join for that; we joined because we were fucking poor and didn’t have many other options."

In media reports on women’s issues—abortion, birth control, Planned Parenthood—men are quoted around five times more than women, a new study shows

Shocker.

Because if there is one thing that is severely lacking when it comes to abortion and reproductive rights, it’s a man’s opinion.

Not like we just had an entire panel of (religious) men testify to congress about birth control use and how they oppose it…and no women…at all.

Love,

Rabble

Mary Gonzalez told them she was the best candidate to represent them and El Paso voters agreed, but along the way, the 28-year-old doctoral student at the University of Texas at Austin broke her share of barriers.

"Real women have curves” was a marketing slogan thought up to sell people overpriced, ill-fitting pants. It does NOT promote body positivity – it only perpetuates body policing by turning the tables on people who don’t fit into yet another arbitrary ideal.
The job is to BUST THE FUCKING PARADIGM APART, not shift it a little bit toward the fat side. The job is to remind people, bodies are not public property and your opinion about an individual’s body is only an opinion, not a valid judgment of their worth as a human being. The JOB is to destroy systemic oppression of nonconforming, rebellious bodies no matter what those bodies look like."

Oh you’re a libertarian that hates state involvement with capitalism?
Please do continue explaining how you’re an anarchist.
TL;DR you should feel bad.

“Anarcho capitalist”
Yes I know you think It’s a contradiction in terms, but I feel the same about your coercive ideals.
Pick voluntarsim.
Kinda creeped out that you went like ten pages deep in my blog to find this.

Actually I was going through the libertarian/libertarianism tags last night.

I think I figured out that the problem with students in the generic American public university system. It is an extension of our nanny and welfare state mentality. Some students feel like they have the right to pass and the right to a degree. In my opinion, college is a privilege, not a guaranteed right.

Except to get a well paying career, you need a college degree and by excluding many of the students in college who have to put themselves in debt to get a degree to get a job is further widening the gap between rich and poor. Also, nice use of “welfare slave.” Of course, let’s compare those on government assistance to basically, not die to slavery. That makes sense. Oh and it’s not like that isn’t a racist comment or anything. It’s not like “welfare” is considered by many to be something given to non-whites who refuse to work so why not put the word “slave” right next to it which is already a sensitive word in the Black community. Why not compare a demeaning public image of African-Americans to slavery, just why not?

tl;dr you should feel bad for the rest of your libertarian life.
